Bare Play FAQ

How often do you have parties?

We will try to have them monthly. Summer months could see more frequent parties since pool parties are much more popular.

Where are your parties held?

Our house is in South Tempe.

What are the ongoing testing requirements?

We require at least one test for each alternating partner every 90 days. This timeframe represents a reasonable balance between the financial burden of regular testing and the safety standards we maintain for our club members. We recognize that this approach is not foolproof, as no protocol can be entirely flawless; however, it is designed to create a practical and responsible balance. If you are highly active in the lifestyle, you may wish to voluntarily update your testing status with us more frequently than every 90 days.

What STD testing panel is required to join the club?

Your first test will require a full panel by both partners. This includes M-Gen (Mycoplasma Genitalium) as well. You can obtain a home testing kit from mybls.com for all the STDs that we need you to test for, for your initial test. That test is called the "STD Advanced" kit and as of this writing it is $159. There is also STDCheck.com but they are more expensive (when you add on the Mycoplasma test during checkout) and you have to go to a lab. You may also choose to use any testing provider you prefer. However, your initial screening must include testing for the below listed panels. When you get your results, you can just reply to any of our emails and attach the results to the email.

  • Chlamydia

  • Gonorrhea

  • Trichomoniasis

  • Mycoplasma genitalium (MGen)

  • HIV 1/2 (4th Gen Ab/Ag and PCR)

  • Syphilis

What about HSV testing?

HSV 1/2 (Herpes) testing is not necessary. When one tests for HSV, it is done through a blood test and only shows if you have antibodies. This could mean you have been exposed at one time to the virus but don't actually have it or it can mean you have it. There is no way of telling from a routine test. So it's pointless to require testing for it. A large portion of the human population has the HSV virus in one form or another (as well as HPV). If you've been in this lifestyle for any length of time, it's likely you have engaged with someone who has HSV (and likely HPV) without even being aware, as many individuals do not disclose their status (or are unaware of it themselves if they've never had an outbreak). So if you are concerned about contracting HSV or HPV, the swinger lifestyle is going to be tough and might not be a good fit for you. We also implore all members who know they have HSV1 or HSV2, to be attentive to their body; if they even suspect an outbreak or upcoming outbreak, they should abstain from attending any parties. This goes for HSV 1 and HSV 2. Also, if you're in the lifestyle and you know you have HSV, you should be taking antivirals, to lessen the risk for everyone involved.

With all that said, if you find this policy uncomfortable, we completely understand, and this club might not be the right place for you.

What is the cost of tickets to your party?

They can vary at holidays. But the standard ticket price is $25 per couple unless otherwise posted. There is also a $25 application fee per couple.

Is there food or drinks provided at the party?

We offer a selection of finger foods, tailored to the timing of each party. Guests should bring their own alcohol. We will provide soft drinks, water, and plenty of ice for everyone to enjoy.

What is the smoking policy?

We kindly request that all club members refrain from smoking on the premises, which includes vaping. While many parties permit vaping and smoking outside, we maintain a policy against it throughout the property. We understand that this decision may not be popular among some, and we completely empathize with how it might influence your wish to join us. However, we are particularly mindful of air quality, and we've determined that Bare Play will foster an environment that aligns with our commitment to a smoke-free space. If smoking is a priority for you, numerous other parties are available for you to enjoy.

Is there any monthly fee to be a club member?

No. I think we're all tired of monthly payments for everything!

Can we ask that condoms be used with any potential play partner?

Everyone deserves to enjoy themselves in whatever way feels right for them. That said, if you prefer or require condom use during activities, our club may not be the best fit for your needs. Our goal is to offer an environment where members who share our preferences can relax and enjoy themselves with fewer concerns about protection. The freedom that comes from not having to ask about condom usage once consent is given, is the ultimate goal of our club.

Can single men join the club?

The club is not open to single men in a public capacity. However, occasionally, we may invite some male friends to the party to maintain a balanced number of attendees. If any single men are invited, they will be personally known to us, thoroughly vetted, and aware of how to behave in the presence of couples. We expect a high level of emotional intelligence and respect for boundaries and consent.

Are bi-sexual couples welcome to join?

Of course! Our goal is to have equal numbers of male and female body parts (well, we can have more female parts than male, but at least an equal balance.) What you do with those parts once they are here, is completely up to you. We feel that sexual gratification is natural, no matter what direction it takes. But for the sake of the party dynamics, this party is not for gay couples. (You guys have so many more options anyway... haha1) It is definitely for hetero or bi-sexual male/female partners.

Are single women welcome?

Of course. Just put "N/A" in the name field for the male part in the application and put any birthdate for the male birthdate.
